Happy Friday, everyone! Boy oh boy am I excited that it’s Friday. It’s been a long week of catching up on sleep from the wedding/honeymoon and jumping right back into work. One of the things we accomplished this week was hanging up some new pieces! Our place is finally starting to feel like our home, and I couldn’t be more proud.
We just hung up these two pieces yesterday, and I absolutely love the way they look next to each other! Funny story, this “barefoot & married” sign was actually from my bridal shower! We incorporated it into our wedding decor as well, and now, it’s parked right outside the wall of our kitchen. My mom got it for my shower from Hobby Lobby–if you don’t shop there, you’re missing out. There are so many cool pieces for such great prices. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find this exact sign on their website, but they have so many cool ones that are similar with the wooden block background. I’ll be posting a look from my bridal shower on Sunday for how we decorated on a budget, so stay tuned! 🙂
As for the antlers, I absolutely LOVE animal pieces–as you’ll continue to see as I post more to the blog–and I got these at Target for under $20! I love the femininity of the flowers marrying the masculinity of the antlers–fortunately, my man loves it also!
Target is one of those places I can go to and drop a few Benjamins. Project 62 is a newer, modern line that I absolutely love!! For those who want something a little more barnhouse chic (Fixer Upper, anyone?!), the countdown is on for when Chip and Jo’s Heart and Hand With Magnolia debuts at Target. Everything is under $30!!! That will be available both in stores and online November 5th; I know I can’t wait!
