This time of year, it’s all about the holidays, and with that comes Black Friday. I have been a Black Friday shopper for years; it’s gotten so much easier to shop since the products went live online, but there’s nothing like freezing your butt off in the cold and sipping on some seasonal lattes while waiting to get into the giant retailers. Plus, the adrenaline rush to beat the hundreds of others to the items on your list is a great feeling of accomplishment (who feels me?!).

The last two years, A.J. and I have scored big time; we’ve even made it into an annual tradition! We always go to Target–because who doesn’t love Target?!–and always seem to leave with more than what we had scribbled down on our list. Over the years, we’ve bought an awesome soundbar, robes, work out clothes, shirts, and the list goes on. Last year, we even stepped up our game, adding Old Navy to our Black Friday location list.

Considering Target has dropped its Black Friday ads earlier this year, it’s only fitting that we talk about Black Friday. In my opinion, the technology is always where you can really save. For example, A.J. and I have had our eye on the JBL Charge 3; it’s a waterproof Bluetooth speaker with a 20-hour battery life–absolutely perfect for those summer days at the beach. It’s originally $150, but Black Friday prices drop it down to $89.99! This is such a great Christmas gift!

The Samsung soundbar we left Target with two years ago has been awesome to have–especially right now during football season. The giant retailer has one for $109.99–$30 off the original price. There’s also a cheaper one by VIZIO at just $49.99–also $30 off the listed price.

One of my best friends got us a pink Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 camera as a wedding gift, and we absolutely love it! It’s so fun taking pictures and instantly getting those cute polaroids. This camera is only $59.99, and comes with some film as well! This is $25 off the original price, and an AMAZING gift for someone who loves taking pictures. I know I will be investing in a lot of film on Black Friday for my own camera!

Target has a ton of other amazing deals, including iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus for free–with activation required–and of course, I can’t wait to check out the clothes and home stuff; we can always use some more bath towels!

In addition to Target, I’m looking forward to all of the other great Black Friday deals for this year! I always check out Refinery 29’s website as they post an article each year of the best Black Friday deals for women’s fashion. Plus, according to DealNews, hotels and airfare should also be dropping pretty significantly for Black Friday.

But, despite all of the great deals, let’s not forget the importance of the true holiday, Thanksgiving. I have so much to be thankful for–my amazing and loving husband, my happy dog, all of my family members who are all healthy, a roof above my head, and the list goes on. What rubs me the wrong way–these giant retailers are now opening the doors earlier and earlier, and are starting to infringe on Thanksgiving dinner. Despite the great deals, I know I will put Black Friday on more of the back burner, and make sure I give thanks to where it’s due.

*My top is from Marc Jacobs and my faux fur vest is Members Only. I absolutely love wearing this vest with pretty much anything; it’s a beautiful color and is such a great–and warm–accessory! My watch is from Kimora Lee Simmon’s Hello Kitty collection; I’ve had it since I graduated from eighth grade–I think it was that year!–and I wear it almost every day. It’s absolutely my favorite watch!
