The first words out of A.J.’s mouth this morning: “it’s snowing!” The snow won’t let up here in Bend, and I’m totally okay with it. My mug is full and I’m staying home, hanging with Mollie. But, now that we’re finally getting a winter, I’m already dreaming of the next season… which is why today, we’re talking about Nordstrom’s winter sale–the best deals under $50.
I don’t know how long it will be before I’m able to wear something like this–they say winter in Bend is more like February and March, so it sounds like I’m going to be living in snow boots for quite some time… but I’d wait for that sunny day to pull this top out with this awesome deal. This Chloe & Katie top is listed at just $26.98.
I probably wear sequins once a year–if that–and it usually lands on New Year’s Eve, because, what else would you wear on NYE? But, the girly girl that I am sure loves a sequin dress, and since I’m crushing hard on rose gold/blush colors–wait till you see the rest of the items I have on this under $50 list–I had to include this one. If you’re looking for a quality sequin dress, normally they can lean more on the expensive side. Luckily for you, this one by SOPRANO is just $38.98.
The blush obsession is just getting started… These wrap dresses have been in for a while now, and it doesn’t look like they’re going out of style anytime soon. I’m a sucker for some big sleeves–it’s such an easy way for an outfit to be *so* different, and I dig that. This Topshop dress is $42, which I think is worth it.
Okay, so maybe this is something I’d still be able to rock in the snow… but seriously, how cute is this?! This Estella Bartlett clutch is such an easy way to elevate your outfit by bringing in just a pop of color, and at $20.40… why wouldn’t you? What I love about blush is that it’s kind of one of those colors you can wear anytime… which is awesome.
Fur + blush = my kind of party. Just $23.99–50% off! I can’t even form sentences… it’s too good.
Breaking away from the blush, rose gold, whatever you want to call it, and on to an important part of my life. It’s no secret how much I *love* our dog, Mollie. She’s just the sweetest, best, cutest, most awesome dog ever (I could keep going, but I don’t want your dog to get jealous). Anyways, this necklace is just so cute and sweet… and the writing on the label says it all, “your necklace is a reminder of the special bond you have with your best friend.” At $34.99, Mollie is worth it.
A portion of my closet is filled with band tees. There’s nothing like adding some spunk to an outfit by going against what everyone else does and rocking your favorite band. As I’m snuggled against Mollie on the couch, in my head, there’s always more room for a band tee/sweatshirt. Period. At $29.98, I can move a few things around to fit this one into our closet.
Then again, sometimes you just need something simple, and that’s okay. Why not a plain yet cozy sweatshirt from Topshop for $19.99?
Going off on that simple look, it’s important to have those basic items in your closet. You never know when you just need that one grey turtleneck dress for something, right?
I love cardigans and being able to just throw something over me that’s warm and so comfy. It’s like wearing a blanket, and that is so my casual style.
Lastly, I’m ending this article with a bell-sleeved bodysuit; one: because, bell-sleeves, and two: because bodysuits are so inconvenient, but really look great. Because it’s a one piece, it really allows the top to look like it’s tucked in perfectly. The bummer is when you have to go to the bathroom… but with a bodysuit like this for $40.80, I may sacrifice the inconvenience.
*REMINDER* Nordstrom’s sale ends on February 25th, so don’t let these deals–or others–slither past you.
